Building A Legacy

Building a legacy of giving during one's lifetime can be one of the most personally rewarding and emotionally satisfying experiences of one's life.  Individual donors and families often begin their giving by responding to business or personal requests for support.  Through such giving, many develop long-lasting and substantive commitments to causes, communities, issues, and organizations that become the center of their philanthropic activities.  As many increase their commitment to their giving, they also seek ways to be more strategic with their investments, and to ensure that their philanthropic dollars are being used effectively.

• Due diligence on non-profit organizations, including leadership and management capacity, program effectiveness, and fiscal stability

• Evaluation of social investment portfolios, including impact assessments of individual grants and organizations
