I've followed the Tour since the days of Greg LeMond. Although I loved watching Lance methodically crush his competition every year for 7 years I always thought he was dirty. How could he not be when the rest of the peloton and his closest rivals were busted over and over again. And as far as I've "never failed a drug test" neither had Marion Jones and other high profile athletes. His vicious attacks on anyone who questions him has become unseemly and now desperate. I've told friends for years this would end badly for Lance, but, even I'm surprised from recent revelations how dirty he really was. I hope though cancer survivors will see that they beat cancer because of their inner strength and not by the words of a self aggrandizing dirty athlete.
